What is Jungian Psychotyherapy?
"Can I carry on living life like this?"
Throughout our lives, we are forced to face major changes. For example, we may have to reconsider our relationships with family members in the event of marital discord or misunderstandings between parents and children. We also sometimes have to adjust our relationships with our partners, for instance through marriage or divorce. We must also accept major changes in our professional lives, such as promotions, transfers or retirement. There are also times when we must re-evaluate our values — the things we have believed in or held as ideals.
All of these are painful experiences. After all, they mean losing something we have cherished until that point. Sometimes, we may even conclude that it would be better to cherish our current life than to change the way we live. Nevertheless, there will inevitably be moments when we must confront such changes several times in our lives.
When facing these major challenges, we should consult our 'soul' above all else? This is the view of Jungian psychology.
While talking about yourself to the therapist, you are listening to the voice of your 'soul' too. As you listen to what your 'soul' has to say, you can decide how to live from this point onwards. Over the past 100 years, Jungian psychotherapy has developed techniques for this purpose, such as dream analysis and active imagination.
'Can I carry on living like this? Or is this the time to change the way I live?"
If you feel this is an urgent question for you, I would recommend Jungian psychotherapy.
